1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both, I love wrapping paper, but struggle wrapping some of the items in funny-shaped boxes
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial... real are SO messy
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving, this year was late because of my trip
4. When do you take the tree down? Before Savannah's birthday which is Jan. 7, that way we can gave her party at home
5. Do you like eggnog? NO! Not at all
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Being really little, my Cabbage Patch Dolls and Pound Puppies really stand out in my head. Those were the gifts that I had really wanted
7. Do you have a Nativity scene? No, I am still in love with the one that my mom has. She and my Grandpa spent weeks making it and it is absolutely perfect :)
8. Hardest person to buy for? Kevin's family
9. Easiest person to buy for? Kevin and Savannah
10. Worst Christmas Gift you ever received? I don't hate them, but I never know what to do with a lot of the little stocking stuffer type gifts.
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail, and they have to be handmade or have a lot of handmade touches
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? ELF or the live-action "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? October or November, I usually start looking at the sales and see what I find
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes... shhh don't tell anyone
15. Favorite things to eat at Christmas? Peppermint Bark and Christmas cookies
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Both
17. Favorite Christmas song? "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. Reminds me of high school
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay Home... Kevin can't get any travel time off of work
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? Yes... Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donnor, Blitzen, and Rudolph
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? A couple Christmas Eve, most Christmas Morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The non-stop Christmas music blaring at every store and the packed stores... I could do with a little less crowd and a little less noise. They were even blaring Christmas music at the Drs office
23. What is the “silliest” family tradition you do, or miss doing? Collecting all of the musical toys. My mom loves anything for Christmas that sings and dances and she has a HUGE collection. It's kinda fun putting fresh batteries in all of them and then picking out new ones.
24. Ugliest Christmas Decoration ever invented? Some of the ceramic plates and platters that I have seen are REALLY ugly. Who buys those?
25. Which looks best, theme trees or homey trees? I like homey trees. We used to have a theme tree when Kevin and I first moved in together, but now it's homey and perfect
26. Gingerbread or sugar cookies? Gingerbread, especially with a Gongerbread Latte from Starbucks :)
