Meeting Midge and Marco

The highlight of our day in Middlefield, OH was meeting Midge and Marco, the Geauga Lake police dogs. Marco is a black German Shepard, and he was HUGE bit so gentle with Savannah. Midge (who was in People magazine a couple of weeks ago) was just recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records for being the world's smallest police dog ever. She is a Chi-Terrier mix. She LOVED Savannah. Where she lived before being a police dog, she had a little girl that would crawl in with her and the other dogs, and she was so excited to see a little girl. The Sheriff even commented on how much she liked Savannah. She kept licking her and kissing her. Marco was also really sweet. He was this really large teddy bear type of dog. And his ears were so big!
