I have been making tons of Christmas cards this year. I have been on this use-up-my-supplies-they-are-overtaking-my-room kick, and make cards has helped me use up a ton of stuff. I am sending some out to some of my online friends, a bunch are going out to my usuall friends/family group, and I have decided to try and get at least 50 out to iur troops overseas. I have spoken with a couple of guys at school that served and they both say that when they were overseas they really enjoyed getting mail, that it was a huge morale boost. I have been getting 3 addresses a day from www.anysoldier.com and am getting all of the cards together to mail. If I can bring a smile to just one person's face, it will remind me the true reseason I send Christmas cards.
I have also been sending messages though www.letssaythanks.com. Xerox allows you to pick a card, choose a message, and send a card. They will print it and pass them out or put them in care packages. I think this is such a wonderful thing that they are doing. Great job Xerox!
