My laptop is finally up and running again! My power cord broke 2 weeks ago and I had been stuck using my old desktop. It feels so, so good to have my laptop back. :)
I have been scrapbooking all afternoon, and have all of materials together for Savannah's 1st year album. Everything is printed and organized, and I have already completes 5 pages! With any luck I will have this bad boy done in the next week :)
I also got another package in the mail, an order of 25 Disney pins. I am starting to put them all in my pin box and then I'll decide which ones to trade when we are at Disneyland. I was thinking about trying to do themes to our lanyards (princess, pirates, fab 4 and friends, rides), but have decided to just go with the ones that we really like. There are a few that I defiantely want to trade, but I'll just out those on my lanyard so I can swap them out with some I love.
I am also getting ready to try a new recipe for dinner. It's called Chicken Pillows and I got the recipe from one of my fave scrappers (Becky Higgins) blogs. It's chicken in gravy all wrapped up in a cressant roll. Yum! I was thinking about using puff pastry instead the rollls, but haven't decided if I want to try and change it the first time I make it.
Kevin is going to be off work until next Wednesday (injury) so I guess that it will be fun having him home for 2 weeks straight. I'm hoping he'll share the TV appropriately, but so far so good because all he has done is play some stupid Star Wars game on the computer.
And, my final note, my Club SEI package has still not arrived. This is the first month that they switched to UPS from FedEx and I am not happy so far. Usually my packages are her around 10:30-11:30 in the morning. Almost 4 and so far no sign of UPS. Thank goodness I have another package to keep me busy today. I is a 4x6 mini-album add-on and and 8.5x11 themed album for school. Not sure what I'll do with it, I was thinking about doing pictures of Savannah's art work from her paint class that she is starting. I'll have to wait and see what it looks like once the materials get here.
