Niagara Falls, Canada - 9-28-05, about 2:30 in the afternoon
We had just arrived in Canada a few short hours ago, we had already done the Journey Beneath the Falls, and we were all hungry. Our handy-dandy guide Kevin had looked around online, and had decided we should all go to a seafoof restraunt called Kettle O Fish. It had been named one of the best seafood restraunts in Niagara Falls, so we were all game. It turned out to be a disaster!!!!
First, we couldn't find the restraunt. We just drove around and drove around. We had an address, but the streets were hard to navigate. We were in a strange city and country, and had no idea where we were or how to find Kettle O Fish. We we finally found the restraunt about 25 minutes later, it looked like a total dive! It was in a run-down strip mall of all places. It wasn't so bad when we went inside, but it was not the type of place that I usually like to eat at.
The the real fun started! Emma did nothing but throw temper tantrums, and Gage acted like he was asleep most of the meal. I thought Jessica and Jason were going to KILL them. The whole meal they kept talking about how we needed to do an adult vacation next time. We had only been in Canada for like two hours and the kids were driving everyone nuts!
The food was pretty good, the chowder was excellant, and it was deinately a meal I will never forget!
