Savannah's First Art Class - August 31, 2006

Savannah's first Artful Potter experiance was a Mommy and Me Paint Me A Story class. One class and we were hooked. Her first piece was a tiny little pig. She didn't listen to the story very well, she was just too excited about the painting. When it came time to paint, she jumped right in. When the teacher, Nicole, asked her what color she wanted Savannah pointed to green. So, green pig it was. She used like five different paint brushes until she found one she really liked. Then she saw that the girl next to her was using purple paint, and suddenly she wanted purple paint, too. All in all, I think it was an excellant class. We started going weekly, and are now going twice a month. I think her little pig turned out super cute, too! She is really into art and crafts like her mommy, and maybe one day she will grow up to be a brilliant painter thanks to this class!
