1001 Things in 101 Days Revisited

Here is my original list from over 2 years ago. Bold things have been accomplished, new things are in Green.

101 Things in 1001 Days

END DATE: 03/28/2010

Life & Experiences
Eat at 5 new restaurants (Brio, Cafe 56, Yardhouse, Kobe Grill, Qdoba)
Eat at 5 more new restaurants
Go see a play, musical, or touring Broadway show.
Scedule 1 fun activity or playdate a week with Savannah, depending on weather
Two trips to Disneyland.
Spend 4 days at any beach.
Go home to Ohio at least twice a year.

Take Savannah up to San Francisco.
Take Savannah to any SEA WORLD or similar park.
Take a family trip to Disney World in Florida.
Travel overseas, either to London or Paris.
Take a cruise to Mexico (Depart LA, at least 2 stops)
Try and see at least 3 new movies every month.
Have a girls night out at least once a month
Have coffee/lunch with a girlfriend 3 times a month

Personal Improvement, Health & Body
Drink at least eight glasses of water each day.
Take my multi-vitamin every day.
Have a pap smear every year, each January
Get my broken top teeth fixed, & maybe teeth whitening.
Go to the gym 5 times a week.
Follow skin care regimen daily, paying lots of attention to moisturizing face and eyes.
Be in bed by 11:30PM nightly.
Try to be fully dressed with make-up by 2:30 PM on gym days, 11:30 AM non-gym days.
Keep fingers and toe-nails polished and soft.
Moisturize daily, head to toe.
Try and check blood sugar 4 times a day.
Take all prescribed medications daily
Write in Journal each day

Diet and Food
Lose 30 pounds minimum.
Meet goal weight of 160 lbs - 25 lbs less than today
Cook 5 meals a week; can not be soup, box meals, frozen meals. Less Processed foods.
Stock house with healthy snacks (low-carb, low-sugar, lots of fresh fruits and veggies)
Limit fast food to no more than once a week. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Try to eat at least 5 fruits or veggie servings a day.
Try one new food/dish a month.
Try a new crock pot recipe twice a month, and put favorites in recipe binder.
Try and drink at least 2 glasses of tea a day.

Things to Make & Creativity
Crochet 3 new blankets: one for my bedroom; one for Savannah; one for living toom.
Make handmade scarves while watching TV
Work on using up scrapbook supplies. Try to limit purchases including SEI, to $40.00 a month.
Scrapbook at least 5 pages or cards a week.
Try to use up SEI kits during the month that they arrive.
Try to get through drawers of scraps using cards. Try to not accumulate new scraps buy using up scraps immediately by making cards after finishing original project.
Finish BG Hiking album.
Finish First Christmas 5x7 album.
Finish 10 Reasons I love you SEI album.
Finish Universal Studios album.
Finish 2009 "Project 365" album
Scrapbook all Disney autograph character apges from 2009 trip
Start "Project Life" album to document starting over in 2010

Things to do for other people/Environment/Good stuff
Make up two parcels, for a boy and a girl, to go under one of the charity Christmas trees this year.
Mail 10 cards a month, regardless of occasion.
Clean out linen closet and donate all blankets, curtains, etc that we are not using.
Mail 3 cards to soldiers in Iraq thanking them for there service.
Start an herb garden and try and grow fresh herbs
Do one thing from the "Green Living" book each month and stick with the change
Buy only low energy lightbulbs

Things to Own/Gather/Purchase/Surround
Buy a painting for my bedroom that I LOVE to look at each and every day.
Complete DVD box collections of Dawson’s Creek
Complete DVD box collections of The O.C.
Complete DVD box collections of One Tree Hill
Complete collections of Grey's Anatomy
Buy an entryway table or nook with baskets like the one I love from Pottery Barn.
Acquire all serving pieces and dinner pieces from PB Great White collection.

Career, School & Income
Take a least one class a semester towards degree.
Stick to budget that Kevin sets up, trying not to over spend and keep allowancing.
Open up a savings account and try to put at least $25.00 a month in it.
Take a digital photography class and learn how to operate digital cameras properly.
Pay off credit card debt by $300 each month
Stop using 2 credit cards

Declutter/Organise/Sustainable Living
Back up all photos on computer to Phanfare. Find an alternative way to store photo DVDs so things are easier to find quickly.
Clean out shoes and closet once a month and give to Goodwill.
Keep up with housework, dishes, and laundry. Keep house in much better shape. (FLYLADY)
Get CH photo boxes and get ALL photos printed and organized).
Try to use up all lotions and body sprays in the guest bathroom.
Clean out kitchen cupboards. Donate or throw away any sets missing pieces, unused kitchen gadgets, and other items not being used.
Run car through car wash once a week (when filling up with gas) and then clean out all trash and get a bag of stuff that needs to be brought in the house.

Things to Learn, Knowledge & Mind
Learn to speak French.
Limit TV time to 4 hours a day for Tab
Limit TV time for Savannah.
Learn about gardening and try to grow more things in containers and herb garden.
Learn to speak Spanish.
Limit non-work computer time to less than 3 hours daily.

Read & Write & Photography
Read 3books a month (any genre or subject).
Update blog 3-4 times a week.
Take at least 40 pictures a week documenting our life (cats, house, garden, projects)
Get family photos taken every 3 months (pro or snapshots)
Try to get more pictures that have me in them

Miscellaneous
Do a 5K race.
Do a 5K race for charity monthly
Do a 10K race.
Do a half-marathon. - doing this is 2 weeks!
Make an emergency box for in the car (jumper cables, flares, tire repair kit, blanket, diapers, snacks, etc)
Get car oil changed every 3 months (September, December, March, June) every year.
