Busy, Busy Weekend

One of the things that I do like about living in Ohio is that my weekends are so busy and full of fun things to do. Here'a recap of my weekend:

Friday: I snuck out of work a little early (did it late Friday after Savannah was in bed) and headed out for a fun day at the mall. It was POURING down rain, lots of thunder and lightening, so I decided that an indoor activity was the way to go. We stopped at Joanns first where I stocked up on Love, Elsie and KI Memories supllies for 40% off (Whoo Hoo)! Then we headed across the street to Great Lakes mall where Savannah hung out in the play area for an hour. My Mom came up to meet us for lunch, yummy grilled chicked stir-fry, and then spent the rest of the afternoon shopping with us. Didn't get much at the mall, Savannah and I each got sunglasses at the Disney Store. I also got a new sweater from Sears. Savannah and Mom did rack up at the $10 for 10 sale at Claires and Icing. Savannah does love jewelry!

Saturday: More rain, like pouring buckets rain. Savannah and I spent the morning at home watching Spongebob and then headed over to Eastlake. I had to go to Pat Catans and pick up a In Threadz mat and some adhesive. Afterwards we went to my mom and Jim's house for dinner and the Kentucky Derby. Jim's house (Big Brown) won, but I had sadly picked Eight Belles. Poor horse :(

Sunday: We got up bright and early and played in the backyard for a while. It was an absolutely beautiful sunny day! Then we headed over to FarmPark to see the train exhibit and all the animals. Savannah did so good with all the animals. She milked a cow, rode a pony, and touched every kind of animal that they had on the farm. I was so proud of her, she was such a big girl! We headed over to Mike and April's house for a BBQ, steak and grilled veggies, YUM! The food was great and the kids rode bikes and played with bubbles. I drove over to Dairy Queen and got every one Dilly Bars.

Today is also going to be a busy day. Work, gym, and then a baseball game. Hopefully I can get a good night's sleep after the game tonight, I'm exhausted!
