We spent all day Sunday at the San Genaro Festival with Kenny and Jessica. Savannah had a blast looking at all the different vendors, she really liked the costumes and the belly dancers and all the toys. They also had a bunch of other booths with sunglasses and toys and handmade crafts. We did buy a couple of bottles of scented oil to put in my fragrance burner.
We got Savannah a wristband so she could go on all the carnival rides, and she went on a ton. We were there early enough in the day that she could just go on them over and over again. She got to ride on cars, inside kangaroos, ride in jeeps, go on the ferris wheel, flying elephants, and into 2 fun houses. She was having so much fun! She is definately her father's daughter, fearless and afraid of no ride.
We ended up getting lunch, they had such yummy food! Jess and Kenny has sausage sandwiches, Kevin and I had cheesesteaks. The food was awesome. Kevin and Kenny had funnel cakes and fried dough for dessert, and Jess and I split a frozen cheesecake on a stick. Wht no one had thought of this amazing dessert before is a mystery to me, it was so YUMMY!
Afterwards, we let Savannah go on a few more rides and play a few games. The highlight of her day was when she won 3 goldfish by throwing a ball into a glass. She was so proud of her fish and wanted to sit in her stroller and hold them the rest of the day.
