Not a Whole Lot New... Just Vacations to Plan

Things here have been fairly quiet. Lots of little stuff going on and lots of planning.

Savannah and I are going to be back at Disneyland 2 weeks from today! My god-daughter, Miss Kara, is turning 4, so we are going to celebrate her birthday with her at the happiest place on earth! Savannah and I are going to head down to CA on the 17th, spend the afternoon at Huntington Beach and either have dinner at Ruby's Diner on the pier or head back to Anaheim and eat somewhere at Downtown Disney. We are going to spend all day Tuesday at the park celebrating Miss Kara's 4th Birthday. Wednesday Savannah and I will head home, but I am thinking about finding something else inexpensive and fun to do in CA besides the beach to do before we leave.

I am also planning a CA trip with my mom, stepdad, and Kevin to San Diego in October. That should also be a quick trip, but it should be a total blast. Savannah will LOVE seeing all the animals. Everything but the sharks. She seems to have inherited my mom's fear of sharks already. My mom was also thinking that we might be able to do the zoo if Kevin can take an extra day of work. Savannah has already been to the Phoenix Zoo and the Cleveland Zoo, and loved both of them. She has actually been to the Cleveland Zoo several times and always asks to go and see more animals.

Then, in November, I am thinking about taking Savannah home for an early Thanksgiving with my family. We probably won't be gone for the actual Thanksgiving holiday since Kevin has to work, but it might be nice to go back and see my family in November. I usually go back in September, but decided not to this year. Plus is we go in November, Savannah can play in the snow again :)
