Holiday Projects

Have you started any of your holiday projects?

Not really, and I totally better get a move on it!!! I have so much that I still need to do.

I wanted to get Savannah's Halloween portraits done. I plan on having her pics done at the Picture People in her costume (it's tradition) and then do some of her at the park holding up the letters B-O-O and then storyboardind them together. That way I'll have some Halloween pics to send in my Halloween cards. I need to get a jump on that.

I also need to make my mom a 50th birthday card and get it in the mail ASAP!!! Her birthday is next Wednesday. I had made her a regular birthday card, but decided that she needs a special one for 50. I also have to mail my brother's birthday card, his birthday is Tuesday.

Then I need to get my Thanksgiving cards started. I have done a grand total of 1. I am not going to stress out over these the way I normally do. I will send out whatever I have and not be too upset that I didn't get to send them to everyone.

I also have to design my Christmas card digitally this year. I am thinking about doing 20 in 5x7 digital photos. I already bought the envelopes and had 2 samples done. I am thinking that I will get some pics of our family on the beach in San Diego in 2 weeks and use those for the card. Some beach pics of us wearing Santa hats would be so cute! Plus it gives me 2.5 more weeks of dieting before I commit to a picture. LOL

I haven't even thought much in the way of handmade presents this year. I am thinking that I'll make up some card sets to give to my family. 20 cards with envelopes, a book of stamps, and a pretty pen. Easy to box up and mail. I am getting a calender kit in November as my club SEI monthly kit, so I am thinking that I will also make that as a gift for someone. Maybe my mom. The only other handmade gifts that I was thinking about was a couple of photo mugs. I was thinking about getting one each for Mike and Lynda (BIL and SIL) of them with thier jeep. And then probably one for Kevin with her Jeep.

Other than the cards I don't appear to be in too bad of shape. No I just need to focus one getting some cards done. Plus all the cards that I am doing for the craft show in November.
