First Day at Disneyland

We had such a fun, fabulous time at Disneyland! I can hardly wait to go back again!

Kevin's 30th Birthday!!!Day 1 - We arrived at the park around 3:00pm, just in time to find a spot right on the curb at Main Street and watch the dreams parade. Savannah wasn't crazy about the noise at first, but loved seeing all the characters. Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, and Ariel (Little Mermaid) were her fave. She got a high-five from Goofy when he walked by her, and then she didn't want the parade to end.

After the parade, we headed over to Tomorrowland for Kevin's birthday dinner. We all had yummy pasta (we ate here for dinner all 3 nights), and then headed on the Buzz Lightyear ride.

Afterwards, we went to ToonTown and went to Mickey Mouse's house so Savannah could meet Mickey. She was so, so excited! She had a ball going through Mickey's house and checking everything out. She seemed the like the old black and white Mickey cartoons a lot. When it came time to meet Mickey, she just kept giving him hugs. Then we walked around ToonTown for a little while, Savannah liked playing on the cars and looking around at everything.

Our next stop was the Teacups. Savannah loved them!!! She kept spinning it in circles, making me so dizzy! The Mad Hatter hat shop is next door, and one of the things on Savannah's list was new Mouse Ears. She tried on a ton of hats, she loved the ones with the characters, but we both ended up getting the 2007 Dream Ears with blinking lights. Then we did a bunch of other rides in Fantasyland (Dumbo, Snow White, Mr. Toad, etc).

We finished out the night with a few rides on the other side of the park. We did Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Many Adventures of Pooh, etc). Then we stopped at Pooh Corner for a yummy treat to eat while walking out, cookies and Tigger Tales.
