We started the day out at California Adventures. As soon as we got in the park, we ran into Minnie Mouse, and Savannah has in heaven. We headed over to the Monster's Inc ride that was closed, so we ended up going to see the Playhouse Disney show based on Savannah's fave morning show. Savannah was picked to hold a sign on up for the audience, but after a few minutes she got nervous and sat down. The show was so, so cute, and Savannah had a ball. She was singing and dancing and playing with the streamers.
Then we walked across to the Muppets 3D show, where Savannah totally freaked out. She did not like the 3D effects and the noise at all! The only part she liked was the 3D glasses. We ended up walking into the courtyard to wait for Daddy and Grammy to watch the end of the show, and we met Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and Woody.
Afterwards, we walked over to the Paradise Pier area for lunch at Ariel's Grotto. The food was so yummy and Savannah got to meet the princesses. She met Arial, Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle. Savannah and I each decorated a crown to wear, and then Savannah colored mine for me. We also got to feed a bunch of baby ducks in the lake next to our table.
After lunch we walked around the pier. We watched the people on the California Screamin roller coaster. She would yell "Go! Go! Go!" while they were waiting to take off. Then Savannah and Daddy went on the Ferris Wheel while Grandma relaxed and people-watched and Mommy shopped. Then Mommy and Savannah went on the Merry-Go-Round and we splashed in the fountains arond it. We found this really cool shop that had lots of beads that you could use to make your own necklace, bracelet, or keychain. Kevin helped Savannah make one, and she was so excited. She chose Mickey, Pooh and Tigger, Chip the teacup, a bee, Nemo, and Mickey Mouse ears, and then we added her initials.
It was really hot, so we decided to play in the water at a Bug's World. Savannah had a ball running around and playing in the water. There were tons of kids to play with and she loved playing chase with them. She got totally soaked!!! We played for about 1.5 hours in the water, then got in dry clothes and did all the kids rides in Bug's World.
We walked over to the Studio Back Lot and rode one Monsters, Inc which Savannah just loved! Then we went to Turtle Talk, the Sorceror's Workshop, and the Animator's Studio. Turtle Talk was so, so awesome! Savannah loved everything Nemo, and was totally fascinated with Crush. She didn't get to ask him her question, but we stayed behind so she could blow him some kisses into his tank.
We walked over to Disneyland for pasta for dinner again, and then went on a ton more rides. We saw most of the fireworks show, but Savannah didn't like the noise very much. Savannah went on Matterhorn, her first roller coaster, which she said was scary but wanted to go again. We finished the night with about 10 more rides, ending up with Savannah and I going on Small World three times in a row while Kevin and Grammy went on Space Mountain. Savannah ended up in the Toy Shoppe where she picked a princess Minnie Mouse doll. It was almost midnight by the time we left the park.
