So, Kevin and I went and saw this bright and early Wednesday morning. I was so, so bummed that I didn't make it to the Midnight show, but just didn't have a baby-sitter. Anyways, neither of us really enjoyed it, which was such a bummer beacuse we had both REALLY been looking forward to it.
Kevin thought it was too much talk and not enough action. He thought the wand battle was way over-hyped, and then thought that the plot and movie relationships reminded him of Star Wars. He said it was the worst HP movie yet.
I really liked this book. I was just so caught up in the thinking, hey that's not what it was in the book that I didn't really just watch the movie. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting. A huge let down because I LOVED Goblet of Fire.
I think I'll have to see it again before I really make up my mind. I'll go in the next time to just watch the story and not worry so much about the book. I mean, it's 2.5 hours of Harry Potter, that alone just make it good :)
Oh, and I really liked the Ron-Hermionie build up in this movie. I was just hoping they would get together in this year instead of year 6 at Hogwarts.
