We headed over to Borders and spent a couple of hours looking at books. There were a few funny ones that I looked at, a really funny one was a book of bad wedding photos. Lots of drunk and angry brides, and quite a few had wardrobe malfunctions. I also looked at a couple of scrapbooking magazines, the new PaperCrafts and then another special edition by them. A couple of cute projects, but a lot of the same old same old. I also looked at a couple of cookbooks, but decided to get a new diet book. I love watching "Celebrity Fit Club" on VH1 with Kevin, so he was looking through the diet book by Ian Smith, the nutritionist on the show. I ended up buying and am thinking about trying it out. The diet looks really tough, but I'd like to give it a chance.
After the book store, we headed over to Zabas for lunch. I had a yummy steak Zaba bowl with guacamole. So, so yummy! One of my fave meals out. Even Savannah ate her whole quesadilla!
Then we headed over to Target. Kevin had to get a RX refilled so we had 20 minutes to kill. We looked at movies and books. Then we headed over to the office supplies. I bought a posterboard and some stickers to start working with Savannah again on potty training. We also looked at toys and games, and Savannah got a new SpiderMan cell phone.
Finally, we went to Sam's Club. Got a few household essentials (diapers, wipes, bottled water, lemonade mix, chicken tenders). As we were leaving, Savannah and I shared a Coke ICEE. It was the perfect treat on such a hot day!
