Busy, Busy Day

Today was s super, super bust day. I woke up bright and early with Savannah, and then I got to work on the newsletter.

Then Kevin and I went to the gym, and I did the treadmill for 35 minutes. I was so, so not in the mood to run. I did listen to my iPod and look through my Natural Health magazine. They had like no articles that were very interesting in it. A couple of recipes that looked good, but I hate looking at food pics while at the gym.

After that, we dropped Savannah off to spend the afternoon with her Grandma. I ran home, got cleaned up, had a quick bite to eat, and then took Spike to the vet. Spent about 30 minutes there before the vet came out and told me that it would be a few hours.

I ran to Michaels to use up my gift card and got a couple more new goodies. I got an SEI kit that has everything to make a 12x12 and a 6x6 album using the Winnie's Wall line. It is an older line, and I have a ton of stuff already, but I figure that I can do the kit and then finish it up with what I already have. I also got some Martha Stewart journaling notes in green, yellow, and orange that match the kits perfectly. And, I got some ribbon to match my new Amy Butler papers and a new scrapbooking book.

Then I headed over to Barnes and Noble to look at some books. I ended up getting two books for me, a book for Savannah, and a new bookmark. They bookmark is Harry Potter, a picture of the trio from the new OOTP movie. I got a Danielle Steel hardback "Johnny Angel" and a book about SAHM realizing thier dreams and transforming there lives. It seems like it has a lot of motivation ideas towards working towards your goals, and one of the goals listed on the back is running a marathon which is one of my goals.

After that, I ran and got Savannah, and then we went and got food at A&W. The Diet A&W root beer on draft is so, so good!!! Even Savannah liked it! I had fish and chips, and she had corn dog nuggets.

After that, we picked up Spike and spent lots of time sitting in rush hour traffic. I was so, so glad to be home. Traffic sucks.
