I ended up getting rushed to the ER on Thursday evening. I had a stomach bug, severe dehydration, and a kidney infection. Not a fun way to spend the evening! I actually had th worst experiance that I have EVER had in a hospital, which says I lot because I have been hospitalized quite a bit. The Nurse that I had to deal with was a total BITCH!!! Let's just say that it took over 3 hours to get me my insulin, and that was somehow my fault. I have never encountered such a miserable nurse in my whole life!!!
I talked to my friend Jen today, who is a nurse, and she said that the new St. Rose hospital is already getting a really bad rep with the Drs in town because the nurses have such attitude. Figures that I get the bad hospital closest to me. Next time I'll drive the extra 10 minutes to Spring Valley hospital.
