I was really bored this afternoon, and was looking around my living room. It looks like a Toys'R'Us outlet. There are toys everywhere!!!!! So, I decided to rearrange the living room and move some more toys up to Savannah's room. I am almost completely done and am much, much happier. My goal when I get back from Ohio will to be to finish getting the downstairs in order.
I really want to get some kitchen chairs for the dining room table. Several of ours were broken, so Kevin ended up just tossing the whole set of chairs. I would also really like to get a new table runner and vase for the table. If I can get some unfinished, I will also see about re-staining the table in the Bombay Mohogany that I just love.
I also a thinking that I am going to get BIL to build be a table for the entryway. I want something really long and really skinny, that way I can put a few pictures, a basket for the mail, a vase with some fresh flowers. I am hoping that we can stain it mohogany to match the toy box.
I also want to get the other two oil paintings framed and hung. One in the dining room, and one somewhere in the living room or entryway.
Lots and lots to do. I really want my house to look like oone from the Pottery Barn catalog. I just requested some PB catalogs so that I can get some inspiration and order a few new things.
