Mother's Day Tea and Fun

Yesterday, my friend Meg and I took Savannah and Kara out for tea. Our tea party was full, so we ended up going to my new fave spot, 2 Sisters Tea and Gifts. We had our on pots of tea, finger sandwiches, scones, fruit, jams and cremes, and truffles. The food was so yummy, and so was the tea! Savannah drank her whole pot of tea. I had Blueberry Green, Meg had Raspberry, Kara had Lady Hannah (strawberry blend), and Savannah had Baby Berry (Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry blend). I tried all 4 of them, and think that Kara's was my fave. Also, the finger sandwich was so , so good. It was a chicken salad, but was reallt finely pureed. Yum! Yum! Yum!
After tea, we went to the Galleria Mall and Build-A-Bear. Savannah made a pink and white bear, Kara made a Koala bear. We dressed them both in matching pink/yellow/orange butterfly bakinis and sarongs and hairbows. They turned out so, so cute. The girls had a ball paying in the store, and especially giving the bears a "Bath" with the brushes and air blowers. Kara named her bear Kara, and Savannah named her bear Laguna.

Next we headed over to the Picture People, where we did portraits. We did several of the girs together that turned out so cute. Then we did a couple of mother-daughter sets. The ones of Meg and Kara were super cute, but I wasn't as crazy about the ones of me and Savannah. It was really hot, so mt hair was really slicked back and straight. Not so cute. We ended up getting two of the girls together, one of Meg/Kara, one of me/Savannah.

Then we took the girls over to the mall play area, and they just loved playing together. They twirled and ran and danced and played and jumped. They are such good friends and have so much fun together. They are really cute to watch.
